The college's copywriter and storyteller generates content for a wide variety of outlets to share the college's good news, including its social media accounts, website, newsletters, campus collaborations, department-level publications, and more. This professional must be creative, nimble with technology, capable of making connections, and understand how all communications work together to tell a comprehensive story to multiple audiences. Each day, you'll collaborate with storytelling experts who are passionate about finding the best ways and platforms to share our story. Our storyteller supports every single segment of the college - engaging all stakeholders, seeking to connect prospective and current students, alumni, friends, donors, faculty, staff, campus collaborators and members of the business community to our college - elevating our collective good work by sharing our stories. This candidate is comfortable providing copy for one-off uses, as well as long-form articles, press releases, integrated campaigns, key messaging while maintaining the brand voice. Specific duties include: * Creating content for the college, including news items, feature stories, video, digital marketing, website, events, press releases, op-eds, publications, advertising, internal communications reports and communications support for the college leadership team, ensuring that written content follows AP and MU Style as appropriate. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range
