Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op - Fall 2025

The Role:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a/an Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

The Continuous Improvement Co-Op will work alongside CI and Operation professionals to support projects. The intent of the Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op role is to allow individuals to be exposed to the technical and management aspects of engineering and continuous improvement, while beginning to develop an interest for longer term career aspirations. They will support the daily management tiered meeting structure, participating in structured problem solving. They will also support the completion of Kaizen events to drive improvements across operations with respect to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

What You'll Do:
* Gain an understanding of the plant, process, and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas on such projects as: efficiency issues and waste reduction.
* Work with a diverse group of cross-functional areas such as safety, maintenance, process engineering, and operations.
* Communicate with people diverse in language ability, educational levels, and experience.
* Implement and support 5S initiatives in a specified area in CHS operation floor.
* Support and enhance problem solving at the daily Tier 1 Meetings

* Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles.
* Strong time management skills.
* Flexibility and accountability to support needs of operations.
* Professional and positive communication skills and ability to work well in group settings.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
* Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering
* Bachelor's/master's degree to be completed between December 2025 - May 2027

Eligibility:
* Must be a currently enrolled student
* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December
* Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program
* Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work in basic physical stances and actions (sitting, standing, walking). May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
