Job Description

Marketing's Digital Analysts cultivate a deep understanding of Allstate's digital touchpoints in order to enable identification, prioritization and measurement of initiatives that drive sales and customer experience outcomes. They work closely with product teams, technology, data scientists and marketers to ensure teams have the data they need to understand their impact and evaluate their products. They support teams throughout the organization including but not limited to Allstate.com, Directauto.com, Online Sales & Service, Performance Marketing, Allstate Mobile and Agency Marketing.

Digital Analytics Senior Consultant uses marketing and digital analytics to design, implement, and maintain measurements and reports that help Allstate better understand our marketing programs and consumer behavior. They provide actionable insights to drive desired consumer behaviors, improve the online experience, and optimize spending. As a collaborative self-starter, they work effectively across various business teams and priorities. Ensuring data integrity is crucial for success and is a key responsibility for everyone on the team. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance a marketing analytics capability to support key digital programs like online service via the following tasks:
  • Ensure measurement requirements through UAT and 3rd party vendor collaboration
  • Conduct pre- and post-release analysis and data validation
  • Communicate results via reports and dashboards
  • Develop advanced consumer experience insights with a focus on segmentation
  • Administrator of digital analytics platform like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Provide feedback and direction on measurement and analysis strategies
  • Exhibit a high level of expertise working with multiple data sources to analyze performance of marketing efforts and make recommendations for improvements
  • Create, review, and submit monthly and quarterly summaries of traffic and conversion performance
  • Proactively establish alert monitoring and review weekly reports to look for data anomalies and perform further analysis if needed
  • Maintain and enhance partnerships across analytics teams in other parts of the organization focusing on data integrity, governance/standards, best practices, etc.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for the team (e.g. establishing relationships/processes with new areas of marketing, evaluation/onboarding of additional tools to enhance team capability, owning vendor relationships, etc.)
  • Utilizes data and analytics expertise to coach and develop across the team

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of experience
  • Advanced experience implementing and using Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics required

Functional Skills:

  • An analytical mindset and avid curiosity
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, disseminate significant amounts of information, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with data and analytics tools such as SQL and Power BI
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Allstate systems and data in order to provide guidance to stakeholders
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines and comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment
  • Ability to drive data and technical projects
  • Excellent presentation skills; persuasively presenting ideas to multiple levels of stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • General insurance knowledge

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
