Founded in 2017 and based in Chicago, Meitheal is focused on the development and commercialization of generic injectable medications and, as of 2022, has expanded its focus to include fertility, biologic, and branded products. Position Summary:

The Director of Pricing and Access Analytics is responsible for the assessment and modeling of pricing strategies across both government and commercial channels, with a focus on gross-to-net evaluation and forecasting for pre- and post-deal key drivers for Meitheal's branded and biologic products. This role presents a strategic opportunity to collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop pricing strategies for optimized bid decisions that effectively drive Meitheal's full value proposition. This individual will engage cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Commercial Operations, Brand Marketing, Pricing and Contracting, National Payer Account Team, and Trade and Distribution to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and brand goals.

The pay range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Pay rate is determined by considering a person's prior experience and competence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform data-driven analytics informing the overall commercial and brand strategies for Meitheal's branded and biologic products.
  • Serve as an integral member of the commercial launch team for products that are currently in development.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-deal analytics to deliver strategic recommendations for access initiatives that drive brand objectives while optimizing the brand's gross-to-net outcomes.
  • Run deal analysis on in-market brands to support appropriate price/volume dynamics that drive profitability.
  • Support all channels of payer contracting including Commercial, Medicare Part D and Part B, Medicaid and other Government channels.
  • Develop and continually enhance contracting models to effectively capture the ever-changing nature of the Payer business landscape within various therapeutic areas.
  • Partner closely with Pricing and Contracting on proposed legislation evaluation forecast modeling.
  • Identify any forecasted gross-to-net variances and monitor to improve and/or mitigate any negative impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years in Market Access.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics in the buy and bill space as well as pharmacy benefit space.
  • Advanced level of understanding of the US healthcare systems including organization, reimbursement, formulary strategy, decision making and emerging trends.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands with a high level of initiative and independence.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within areas such as Finance, Commercial Operations, Brand Marketing, Pricing and Contracting, National Payer Account Team, and Trade and Distribution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and reconcile contracts and financial data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to think strategically and work independently.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to work within date-sensitive deadlines.
  • Experience in new product launches.
