Credence has an immediate need for an experienced Test and Evaluation Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/ Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) mission is to optimize warfighter readiness by exploiting technologies to revolutionize sustainment operations, standardizing and centralizing new technology and methodologies for rapid implementation at scale. Utilizing an innovative three-step technology process, the RSO identifies emerging technologies, applies and validates them through rapid prototyping, then deploys and scales the successful technologies over time to reduce sustainment costs and improve readiness. The RSO plays a role in sustainment analogous to a research laboratory in development.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Advise the Chief of Test/Chief Development Tester on Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to other organization test managers, ensuring alignment with the Rapid Sustainment Office's mission to leverage emerging technologies for cost reduction, improved readiness, and operational excellence.
  • Assist in developing/documenting T&E strategy that integrates policy, program requirements, cost & resource estimates, evaluation framework, and T&E schedule to accomplish program goals.
  • Coordinate the planning, management, and oversight of Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) activities and maintain oversight of contractor and participating Test Organization T&E activities supporting the program.
  • Advise the Program Manager (PM) on test issues, and help the PM make technically-informed, objective judgments about weapon system contractor DT&E results.
  • Be responsible for issues regarding prime T&E, such as: identifying test scope and resource requirements; planning and conducting DT&E; supporting Operational Test (OT) and OT readiness; planning, coordinating, and supporting Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMS), Flight Test Requirements Working Group (FTRWG), and Test Plan Working Group (TPWG); and planning, writing, and coordinating test documents such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs).
  • Provide support for planning, coordination, and execution of the Integrated Test Team (ITT) and the Contractor shall obtain and provide status of T&E projects to senior leadership as required.
  • Provide support for strategic test resource planning, to include, but not limited to, developmental and Operational Test resources for known and potential future test programs.
  • Assist in execution of the Test Resource Planning Council (TRPC) process and coordinate and support the documentation of TRPC decisions.
  • Provide advisory, documentation, and coordination assistance for the development of responses to higher headquarters inquires, public affairs requests, and inputs to annual reports such as Office of the Secretary of Defense annual reports.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Secret clearance required
  • Master's degree and ten years of experience required
    • Experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Have experience in identifying and developing mitigation for Test & Evaulation risk factors
  • Be able to translate requirements to support T&E planning efforts
  • Be familiar with all T&E policies, practices, procedures
  • Have experience in T&E management (e.g., T&E Integrated Product Team, Integrated Test Team, etc.)
  • Have experience in writing/translating test documents such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans, developmental Test Plans, and Operational Test Plans
