Summary
This position is responsible contributing to the profitability, continuity, and growth of Hollister Incorporated by providing maintenance, repair, upkeep, and administrative services to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and attractive work environment compatible with Hollister's Mission and Vision.
Responsibilities
* Leads Facilities team in management of facilities maintenance resources involved in planning and maintaining the Hollister facility. This also includes providing technical expertise, office layout management, conducting physical audits to determine readiness to support Operations' requirements, and maintaining physical plant and real property including purchase, inventory and disposal of equipment/furniture.
* Own preventative maintenance program and maintain records.
* Ensure safety and cost initiatives of ongoing projects are met.* Manages outside vendors, outside projects, negotiation of contracts, resourcing, and leadership of facilities engineering group
* Schedule and train (to Hollister's Specifications) external contractors (Janitorial, Waste Disposal, Utility, etc.)
* Interface with fire/property insurance providers and maintain internal fire protection systems.
* Manage the company property to present a favorable image. Provide a safe and comfortable environment through project upgrades.
* Effectively communicate with cross-functional team members to launch new projects.
* Socialize project status throughout operations and engineering functions.
* Present updates to senior leadership at project milestone meetings.* Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO regulations through documented MI and PM scheduling completion.
* Support and manage Kaizen events as needed, including production and warehouse events.
* Provide technical information and troubleshooting to provide information and assistance in resolving process issues.
* Plan and schedule facility maintenance to support to operations teams, leading the team in daily objectives.
* Support facilities maintenance technicians by requesting quotes, supporting projects, and making decisions as needed.
* Responsible for achieving competency in all identified skill requirements outlined in associated training profile for position.
Essential Functions of the Role
* Regular use of PPE: feet, hands, and general body protective clothing and gear.
* Work on elevated platforms, use ladders, and lifts.
* Infrequent access to confined spaces.* Operate material handling equipment.
* Operate production and maintenance-related equipment.
* Use electronic instruments, hand tools and power tools.
* Public speaking requirements.
* Ability to work flexible start/stop times when needed to support operation.
Work Experience Requirements
8-10 years of experience in a distribution, or manufacturing environment. 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
Education Requirements
* B.S. / B.A is required. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge
Leadership experience in a team-based environment in distribution or manufacturing environment.
* Project Management skills.
* Experience with Total Productive Maintenance or Reliability Centered Maintenance, Lean Principles & Six Sigma.* Extensive experience in Capital Management and AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) projects, demonstrating a proven ability to oversee financial planning, budget control, and cost management for large-scale initiatives
* Root cause analysis problem solving methodologies desired.
* Experience with manufacturing ERP systems.
* Familiarity with fire protection systems, compressed air systems, building automation.* Effective Interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven ability to prioritize, set clear objectives when faced with conflicting demands and stakeholders, develop and execute effective strategies, and develop and support strategies that integrate continuous improvement methodologies into site
* Ability to develop relationships, partner and work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000- $120,000. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- This position is also eligible for an annual 15% merit bonus. The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program based on earnings and length of service.
