We have partnered with a highly-respected global company in Carlsbad that is looking to bring on an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager. This role will lead the development, monitoring, and analysis of indirect rates to ensure timely and accurate financial closing. Responsibilities include preparing Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs) and Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS), ensuring compliance with government regulations, and maximizing cost recovery on U.S. government contracts. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end journal entries related to indirect rates and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including CAS, FAR, and DFARS. Oversee the preparation, submission, and audit support of FPRP and ICS, collaborating with internal teams and government agencies such as DCMA and DCAA. Analyze financial data to ensure proper cost pool alignment for rate submissions and financial reporting. Lead the implementation and management of SAP S/4HANA processes related to indirect allocations across U.S. and international operations. Monitor and enhance processes to maintain adequacy of FPRP and ICS submissions, incorporating lean principles to drive continuous improvement. Establish strong relationships with cost and functional owners to ensure timely and accurate support for government submissions and audits. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 4+ years of experience in operating cost analytics and/or indirect rate development. 3+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably with government contracts. Strong knowledge of CAS, FAR, DFARS, and related government regulations. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced MS Excel skills. Preferred Qualifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification. Prior experience with government audits and DCAA/DCMA interactions. Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and driving process improvements. Compensation: Salary range: Competitive and based on experience.
