As a Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will assist in recruiting and hiring qualified talent needed by the Airports Authority to ensure an effective work force, ready and able to assume new challenges.Talent Acquisition Assistant This is a non-career, term job. Serves in the Talent Acquisition Department of the Office of Human Resources and Administrative Services at the Headquarters Office. Performs varied administrative duties to support the recruitment and hiring functions of the ERPM Department. Performs related functions. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on the careers websites, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews, and writing offer letters. Assists in onboarding process by tracking completion of background checks and assisting new hires in getting all required employment documentation completed. Attends job fairs and other community events as required for recruiting and branding the Airports Authority. Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on the careers websites, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews, and writing offer letters. Prepares or reviews personnel actions including initial applicant screening, scheduling up interviews, and checking references. Works with hiring managers to determine job posting requirements, including posting on any job-specific websites. Drafts and posts vacancy announcements for a range of occupations and levels of work. Processes applications and resumes; conducts initial screen for eligibility and basic qualifications for all positions. Works with hiring managers to create Job Requisitions in Workday. Informs callers, visitors, and employees about job vacancies, application procedures, and selection processes. Maintains applicant/candidate and staffing status databases. Administers pre-employment screening tests. Conducts reference checks. Coordinates and schedules interviews. Enters and retrieves data using Workday and other HR Information System (HRIS) systems. Prepares reports and various documents. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Two years of progressively responsible experience in administrative and clerical support functions. Knowledge of human resources management with an emphasis on recruitment, selection, and placement and ability to apply to employment programs and processes. Ability to perform human resource administrative functions including reviewing and processing applications and resumes, answering applicant questions, creating job postings, and maintaining files and preparing reports. Ability to perform basic analyses of data and information and make recommendations. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding applicant and employee information. Ability to speak and write effectively. Skill in using a computer and office suite software, with emphasis on using word processing software, an HRIS, and Internet research. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in job recruitment, selection, and placement in the public sector. Familiarity with social media, resume database, and professional networks. Experience using Workday HCM system. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field. EDUCATION A high school diploma or a Certificate of General Educational Development (GED). CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED None NECESSARY SPECIAL FACTORS Work is typically reviewed in progress and upon completion for quantity, quality, timeliness, teamwork, customer service, and other factors.
