Description
Developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures for effective facility management
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities including maintenance, repair, and cleaning services
- Enforcing safety protocols in all facilities to ensure employee health and well-being
- Ensuring that all facilities are properly maintained by hiring and supervising contractors, architects, engineers, and other staff members
- Planning, developing, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of facilities resources
- Monitoring compliance with local codes and regulations regarding building safety and fire prevention
- Directing and resolving facility management issues with building management at location
- Maintaining cohesive communication and working relationships with the facility's real estate brokers, owners, landlords, and local government officials
- Managing facility-related vendors to ensure that scheduled work is done and conflicts/changes are addressed in a timely fashion, including furniture, plants, courier and mail, stationery and printing, security, shipping and postage, office supplies, and internal Moves-Adds-Changes
- Planing, budgeting and scheduling facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, and layouts
- Provide on-going management of facilities to include requests for maintenance, and ensure that the responsibilities are met under the leases. Provides review and analysis of all invoices for site and field facilities
- Directing and managing subordinates and is responsible for annual performance reviews

Desired Skills

- Background in Facility Management with at least five years experience in a Leadership Role.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Facility Manager Certification (IFMA or BOWMA)
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
Travel Requirements
