Job purpose The Supervisor, Warehouse is responsible for overseeing and handling of all dock operations/personnel. This includes accountability for inbound and outbound freight, as well as adherence to safety and company policies and procedures. Working conditions While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-80lbs, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 80-150 lbs. Physical requirements The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of the job the employee is occasionally required to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally required to work in high precarious places. The employee is occasionally required to work near fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally required to work in outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally required to work in extreme heat.
