About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic 2nd shift team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse range of machinery and systems to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency. This position requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with technical expertise to meet the demands of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

2nd Shift: 3:15 - 12:00 AM

Includes $1.50 shift differential

This role offers the chance to work with a diverse array of equipment supporting heaters and sensors across a variety of industries, including semiconductor, aerospace, defense, medical and clinical applications, as well as industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment as scheduled to minimize downtime and ensure peak performance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, providing effective solutions to reduce production interruptions.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues efficiently.
  • Inspect machinery regularly for abnormalities, wear, or potential failures, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory using CMMS.
  • Oversee and assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Fabricate and assemble complex production equipment and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
  • Repair and install piping systems, including those for gas, water, air, and hydraulic oils.
  • Work with a variety of manufacturing equipment, such as lathes, automatic winders, welders, ovens, and more.
  • Read and update electrical and mechanical schematics as required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including robotics.



Preferred Qualifications



  • High-school graduate/GED preferred
  • Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and technologies.
  • Familiarity with equipment used across industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical devices.
