What you'll be doing...

You will be an agent for change driving the modernization of business-critical infrastructures. As a Privileged Access Management (PAM) engineer within our Verizon Cyber Security Organization, you will be working with our PAM Services team to secure, support and modernize our PAM services. This specific position will have an emphasis on Windows and Linux server privilege management and account security, MFA integration, and data reporting and visibility.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Advise security and application teams on best ways to leverage PAM services to improve the security posture of their applications and infrastructure

  • Engineer and Support on-prem and cloud based PAM applications

  • Implement new integrations with PAM tools

  • Provide on-call support as part of the PAM team on-call rotation

  • Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Windows administration experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Linux administration experience.

  • CCNP Security or other related certifications.

  • CISSP, CISM or related certification.

  • Experience with network and agent-based micro segmentation technologies.

  • Experience with PAM tools such as CyberArk PAS, HashiCorp Vault, BeyondTrust Powerbroker or others.

  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Service Now or similar workflow management tools.

  • Experience with Splunk or similar SIEM tools.

  • Working knowledge of IP Networking including routing, firewalls, ports, and protocols.

  • Experience working in an environment regulated by SOX, PCI DSS, or other similar controls

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and directory technologies.

  • Working knowledge of access management functions including RBAC and permission management.

  • Strong debugging skills working within complex systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize, and organize to meet deadlines.

  • Experience developing and analyzing data; generating metrics and reports.

  • A thorough and detail-oriented work approach.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Where you'll be working
