The Sr. Associate, Repair & Maintenance Engineering will be responsible for maintenance planning and project management throughout the ASPEX Facility. Fort Worth, TX, United States

Role duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Own planning for semi annual plant shutdown activities, planned maintenance for monthly PSBs, and coordination/planning of weekend work.
• Prioritize work orders based on criticality, cost, and resource availability.
• Manage maintenance projects, planning, execution, and completion.
• Development and execution of CARs and ECOs to drive projects.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Drive maintenance related non-conformance investigations

Working hours: 1st Shift 8:00AM-5PM (Potentially some seldom work on weekends and afterhours)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 4 Years of Relevant Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge and ability to execute CARs
• Knowledge and ability to execute and manage POs and the PO process
• Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Project to effectively manage projects and planned maintenance
• Knowledge and ability to draft and execute projects through the Engineering Change Order process (ECOs)
• Investigator Certification
