Inventory Specialist I

Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings based on manager designated priorities
• Reviews production schedules and to determine material requirements
• Arranges transfer of materials to meet movement schedules
• Examines material to verify type and quantities specified on movement requests
• Compiles reports of quantity and type of material on hand

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

• High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in material warehousing, material movement/flow, and tracking and reporting of on-hand material inventories

• Experience using CMPRO, or NSLC or NAVSUP warehouse processes/systems
• Familiarity with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) compliance standards will be given special consideration

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL.
