Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric and ACHD Electrophysiology

Join the team as an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP) for Pediatric and Adult Congenital Electrophysiology
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b)of Section 2725). The NP will provide and coordinate the care of congenital heart patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals and documents services rendered.

***This is one Advanced Practice Provider position that will be filled be either a PA or NP**

Salary range: $89.06- $127.19 /Hourly

• CA RN and CA NP License- required
• MSN/DNP with FNP Specialty- required
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross -required
• ACLS and PALS from American Heart Association-required
• National Certification in NP Specialty- required
• A minimum of 2 years cardiac experience in a RN or NP role-required
• Previous NP experience - required
• Previous Electrophysiology experience - preferred
• State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES- required
• Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs- required
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
• Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions -required
• Ability to set priorities- required
• Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailedand grammatically correct correspondence-required
• Document patient care in an concise and comprehensivemanner-required

NPII: 6+ months experience as NP
