Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Support manufacturing & sourcing strategies including maintaining professional relationships with third-party sourced vendors for the benefit of Rocky Brands, Inc.

Source the best product possible in the most appropriate factory at a competitive price.

Ensure manufacturer and vendor compliance detailed in the Rocky Vendor Agreement.

Provide oversight of cost system to ensure and maintain accuracy

Maintain and execute Standard Operation Procedures for First Costs of Source Finished Goods.

Apply continuous improvement approach to all processes related to role and responsibilities.

Responsible for maintaining accuracy of supplier and cost master data in ERP system and sourcing cost matrix.

Collaborate with Rocky International Teams to support and enhance various activities and processes within Rocky's supply chain.

Ensure compliance of corporate ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's degree of Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum two years of relevant supply chain, manufacturing, business, or footwear experience.

Ability to multi-task many active projects and programs.

Knowledge of operations and how the procurement function supports operational needs.

Ability to work with teams and relate to all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of Manufacturing Methods and Procedures.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Advanced math skills to interpret current and future demands against business requirements.

Competency in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

  • Problem Solving - uses logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
