Summary of Job Duties:The Research Associate will be involved in obtaining and processing multiple genomic data of various soybean genotypes, including experimental breeding lines and genetically diverse accessions. Genomic data includes genome-wide molecular markers at various formats and resolutions. Strong background in bioinformatics and routine handling of high-dimensional molecular data are expected. In addition, the Research Associate will participate in developing quarterly reports for research projects, peer-reviewed manuscripts, and presentations at scientific meetings. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics plus three years of related experience or a MS degree in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics.

Background in bioinformatics and high-dimensional genomic data applied to soybean breeding and genetics.
