About This Role
The K-State Physics department is seeking a Career Skills Program or DoD Skillbridge intern to serve as an IT Support Specialist in the Physics Computing Support Center. The length of this internship is 90 days. The IT Support Specialist intern will provide IT services in the Physics Computing Support Center in the following capacity:

About Us The Physics Computing Support Center was established in 1997 to bring order to the chaos that then reigned over computing in the Physics department. It was originally known as the Physics Computer Support Team, and grew out of our electronics repair shop. It has long since absorbed the old shop and become critical to the operation of the department. PCSC provides both hardware and software support to the Physics department (and to several other KSU units). By participating in a CSP or DoD Skillbridge internship at K-State, you will have the unique opportunity to apply your military knowledge and abilities in a dynamic educational environment. You'll contribute meaningfully to K-State's mission while growing and refining your skills in new and exciting ways.
