Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled full stack software engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AWS. Firm knowledge of Lambdas (Python), APIs, RDS, and writing/optimizing SQL queries is a must. We use Flutter for the frontend. We welcome candidates with knowledge of similar frontend frameworks who are eager to learn Flutter. Our apps are ported to all platforms (mobile, desktop, and web), so familiarity with building for these platforms (responsive design, build/deployment processes) would be plus. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our product managers and embedded software team to bring your talent to the forefront to deliver end-to-end solutions. This is a hybrid position and requires the candidate to be on site in Danbury, CT for 1 - 2 days per week. We have flexibility for the onsite requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test and deploy high-quality applications using AWS and Flutter. Build and manage serverless functions using AWS Lambda. Develop, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs. Develop/optimize SQL queries and database schemas (PostgreSQL). Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services. Implement security best practices. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with various teams to define, design, and develop new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer. Strong proficiency in AWS services, especially RDS, Lambda (Python), API Gateway, and S3. Proficiency with Python and writing SQL queries for PostgreSQL. Proficiency creating/consuming APIs and working with JSON data. Familiarity with frontend development, preferably Flutter (React Native or similar frameworks acceptable if willing to learn Flutter). Experience with Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to provide examples of past completed projects. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
