Bring your passion for people, planning, and problem-solving to the Corporate Strategy & Solutions and Corporate Affairs divisions within our Financial Management, People and Engagement group. As a Team Assistant supporting dynamic teams within this group, you will gain exposure across a wide variety of business activities while showcasing your positive, confident, and proactive approach, and exceptional time management skills.

What role will you play?

In this role you will be responsible for calendar management, expense and invoice processing, travel coordination (both domestic and international), Concur utilization, organizing team events, organizing, attending, and taking minutes in meetings, supporting onboarding, transfers, and leavers, organizing team equipment, and advise and train staff on systems and procedures. You'll perform discreet tasks as requested by the Head of Corporate Strategy and Head of Corporate Affairs, and you'll serve as point of contact for these two divisions and its staff in the Americas region. As part of Corporate Affairs, you will also be tasked to support regular press and social media monitoring in support of the media and communications team and you will also get the opportunity to work on various ad-hoc projects.
Salary range for this position: $85,000-100,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

  • Have a strong interest in Macquarie's corporate strategy and engagement with its audiences and stakeholders, strong liaison skills, ability to prioritize workloads and navigate conflicting requirements, effectively manage and deliver results
  • Booking and confirming extremely complex travel arrangements including producing comprehensive travel itineraries, working on roadshows, flights, hotels, cars, trains and visas
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices on Coupa and processing monthly expense claims in Concur ensuring deadlines are adhered to
  • Producing and coordinating documents for meetings including printing, binding, scanning all complemented by your command of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exercise good judgement, be a self-starter, and have a learning mindset.
