Responsibilities

As our Teacher, you'll be the guiding star of our academic program, working alongside the Education Supervisor/Manager and Executive Director. You'll collaborate with parents and fellow educators to craft individualized academic plans that help students shine. Get ready to support a diverse group of learners as they tackle subjects at their own pace and achieve their goals!

What You'll Be Rockin':

  • Personalized Learning Plans: Team up with families and school districts to develop individualized academic plans that cater to each student's unique needs and strengths.
  • Coursework Coordination: Work your magic to ensure timely administration of coursework, keeping everything organized and running smoothly.
  • Virtual Instruction: Bring your creativity to life by providing engaging individual instruction and academic support through virtual lessons and school-facilitated curriculum.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee our awesome math and science tutor, providing direction and feedback to create a cohesive learning experience for all students.
  • Progress Monitoring: Keep parents in the loop with weekly email updates and track student progress with our electronic documentation system.
  • Goal Setting: Help students set exciting weekly goals and provide daily and weekly assignment scheduling to keep them motivated and on track.
  • IEP/504 Support: Be a champion for our students by offering support and participating in IEP/504 meetings to ensure their needs are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Join in on fun internal department meetings and trainings to stay connected and share ideas.
  • Communication: Share insights about behavioral, academic, and attendance concerns with clinical and direct care staff to develop effective interventions.
  • Team Meetings: Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings, parent meetings, and clinical calls to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
  • Additional Duties: Be ready to jump in and tackle other duties as assigned to support our mission and enhance the learning environment.

Qualifications

Compensation for this role ranges from $66,880 - $79,200 annually, depending on education and experience.

We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with student instruction required (middle/high school preferred).
