Salary Range: $58K - $82K What You'll Do:
- Maintain primary responsibility for managing the fleet operations of a Sealy plant.
- Areas of responsibility include: inbound and outbound freight costs, asset management, safety compliance, driver dispatch, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer satisfaction, and other transportation-related duties.
- Use logistics software to budget for and reconcile miles, fuel receipts, work orders, etc.
- Measure and report performance indicators to appropriate management as directed.
- Manage driver payroll and ensure consistency with applicable labor agreements.
- Maintain responsibility for fleet safety through inspections, planning and delivering trainings, and adherence to company policies.
- Assist management with auditing the effectiveness of current procedures and policies and implementing corrections when needed.
- Support and work as a liaison between the transportation team and the Sealy assembly plant team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- 4 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics management.
- Experience with and understanding of FMCSA regulations.
