Job Description

Assist in the development of patient education material pertaining to stress testing procedure. Participate in patient education for patients scheduled for stress testing. Call patients prior to test to explain test and answer questions. Offer health information during and after testing.Serve as a consultant to the nursing staff and other health care professionals as related to stress testing indications and procedures. Assist in the education of other department staff members. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

• Education Requirements

  Graduate of an accredited nursing program, diploma, BSN, Masters degree preferred

  Licensing Requirements

  Certificates/Licenses/Registration State

  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

  Pennsylvania

  Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

  IV Certification

  Experience Requirements

  Experience in cardiovascular laboratory or two years hospital nursing care. Critical Care experience preferred. Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
