Credence has an immediate need for a Program Manager Health Professions Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program in support of the Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institution Programs (AFIT/CIP) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

The Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institution Programs (CIP) responds when needed by the Air Force to fulfill a new mission, take new direction, and to satisfy new requirements.

Once officers are selected by their respective force development teams at the Air Force Personnel Center, the AFIT Civilian Institution Programs staff is officially notified of selected individuals. Program Managers then work with the selected officers from selection through confirmation of graduation or program completion.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Provide support to the Health Professions Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program (HPSP & FAP) in advising and organizing student actions to include, but not limited to, leaves of absence, medical and academic disqualifications from training, tracking scholarship dis-enrollment actions, discharge actions, and annual graduation/sponsored degree completion certification.
  • Assist with record audits to ensure program and scholarship requirements have been met, and that the student contract terms for tuition and benefits payments have been satisfied.
  • Assist in development of a tracking system and make recommendations for modification to or creation of new fields in the Civilian Institution Management System (CIMS) student management system.
  • Provide support for students during various phases of student enrollment, from application to graduation. This includes, but is not limited to: answering questions, directing students to the correct office/agency who can assist with military pay and travel, providing assistance to HPSP & FAP program staff, maintaining and updating checklists, and reviewing pending graduate lists against student management system to ensure all eligible terms of tuition have been paid, as needed.
    • Provide a wide range of other administrative support services to the AFIT/CIM staff in support of programs managed by the division to include, but not limited to:
    • Providing administrative support with various organizational databases.
    • Assisting with reports and presentation formatting (i.e., Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, PDF, or other formats).
    • Assisting with ordering office supplies, and preparing lists for supplies/equipment to be procured by the Government office.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Clearance: Tier 1
  • Bachelor degree in Education or Healthcare Management field, Business Management or Human Resources
  • Five (5) years of experience in higher education administration
