Description

Markon is seeking a cleared Electrical Engineer to support one of our largest intelligence community customers.



Responsibilities

    Assist the Sponsor in managing IC facilities, embassies, and USG properties (domestic and overseas), including environmental and energy functions.

  • Recommend process improvements to optimize facilities, improve environmental and energy management, and reduce costs.

  • Conduct studies, capability assessments, and gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and redundancies.

  • Support the execution of interagency working groups and program reviews, including meeting logistics, preparing materials, and taking notes.

  • Manage Data Calls for working groups or program reviews, including collecting, analyzing, validating, and presenting IC facilities data.

  • Conduct trend analysis to identify deficiencies in facilities, energy, or environmental areas; draft reports and executive summaries.

  • Draft strategic implementation plans for the Sponsor's review.

  • Provide engineering analysis for new and existing construction projects (domestic IC facilities, embassies/consulates, and overseas upgrades), ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.

  • Assess integration of DoS and IC technologies in current and future construction projects.

  • Design, review, and plan security evaluations for new or modified construction projects.

  • Ensure compliance with secure federal facility planning, design, and construction standards (e.g., vaults, SCIFs, Post Communications Centers).

  • Recommend facility design changes for sensitive material storage, security procedures, and security standards.

  • Draft Congressional and DoS Notifications for design, construction, and renovation projects, coordinating with the DoS for overseas facilities and logging notifications in NCSC's document repository.



Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI W/ CIP
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in engineering and/or facility management
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering registration is preferred but not required.


Salary Range

USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
