Position Description
The Digital Project Manager manages digital projects to support TTUHSC strategic objectives. Provides technical expertise on backend systems. Utilizes analytics platforms to support decision-making. Plans, schedules and coordinates projects and activities to meet deadlines. Monitors project compliance. Coordinates the overall development of the project while directing project personnel. Maintains relationships with and provides regular communication to project stakeholders.

Major/Essential Functions
The digital content optimization manager is responsible for leading TTUHSC's focused content optimization strategy, enhancing website performance, visibility and search rankings through strategic content improvements. The specialist will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement SEO practices that increase qualified organic web traffic, increase conversions and deliver an intuitive user experience while ensuring accessibility and compliance with best practices. This position is full-time and reports to the Director of Digital Marketing & Content Strategy.

  • Follow all TTUS and TTUHSC Operating, IT and Safety policies and complete all trainings as required.
  • Design and implement a strategic approach to search engine optimization that aligns with institutional goals, ensuring that TTUHSC and Texas Tech Physicians websites are optimized for maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Improve existing website content by implementing SEO best practices that enhance search rankings and user experience.
  • Analyze website traffic and search performance data to measure the impact of optimization efforts and guide future strategies.
  • Contribute to content development efforts by ensuring website copy is clear, consistent and aligned with accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in SEO, AI, accessibility and data collection, ensuring that the university's web presence remains competitive and compliant.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the University and External Relations Division by performing other duties as assigned.
  • This position qualifies to work remotely. New employees will have a 90-day probationary period, at which time remote work will be discussed. Remote work performance will be reviewed quarterly and may be terminated at any time the arrangement is no longer in the best interest of the External Relations team and/or TTUHSC.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven (7) years.
