The MidFirst Bank Compliance Testing Analyst will perform a variety of tasks related to assisting the Commercial and Private Bank 1LOD Manager in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Truth in Lending Act
  • Truth in Savings Act
  • Fair Credit Reporting Act
  • Servicemembers Relief Act
  • SAFE Act
  • Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
  • Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act
  • Home Mortgage Disclosures Act
  • Community Reinvestment Act
  • Fair Lending Act
  • Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices
  • Identity Theft/Red Flags
  • Privacy
  • Appraisals


  • Functions

    • Participation in a team environment where motivation, support and collaboration are paramount
    • Participation in workgroups to problem-solve issues causing non-compliance
    • Research internal programs, policy, procedures for solutions to internal risk assessments and testing events
    • Assist Lending staff in resolving issues according to policy
    • Create controls to mitigate risk identified by internal compliance
    • Drafting of policy, procedures and job-aids
    • Identifying areas of Best Practice that needs improvement and reporting to Compliance Manager
    • Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related questions or problems
    • Tracking and Monitoring of data
    • Working with various Business Units in various markets nation-wide




  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, legal affairs or Compliance
    • Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
    • Effective written and oral communication
    • Must possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Knowledge and ability to work within adobe software
    • Strength in technology ability to understand and work with unfamiliar software systems
    • Demonstrated reasoning and critical thinking skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to make recommendations
    • Project management exposure is a plus for working effectively in a high-pressure environment with time constraints
    • Multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment with time constraints
    • Flexibility in an ever-changing daily schedule
    • Attention to detail is paramount for accurately performing job requirements
    • Professionalism is paramount in this position
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Occasional travel may be required
