Summary Engages leaders at the individual level to assess and improve leadership presence and skill. Serves as the subject matter expert on relevant leadership assessment tools and mentoring leaders throughout the assessment process to ensure learned behaviors are applied on the job. Serves as a liaison/consultant to assess needs for behavioral change to align with corporate strategies and leadership capabilities. Location: This role is full-time onsite at 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia, SC.

Position Purpose: Enhances leadership presence and skills individually. Mentors leaders on assessment tools and applying learned behaviors. Consults on aligning behaviors with corporate strategies. Facilitates programs and forums for leadership growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Consults with management regarding the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of management training programs. Provides customized training and feedback solutions for leadership such as peer reviews and 360 evaluations.

  • Designs and implements programs that supply the organization with trained executives in accordance with the organization's plans and strategies. Collaborates with organizational leaders to identify skill gaps to address strategic needs of the organization regarding leadership development and courses.

  • Coordinates programs in management appraisal, counseling, promotion and placement. Evaluates costs and options and makes recommendations for appropriate training solutions, utilizing both internal and external resources to meet needs.

To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following:

  • Required Education: Bachelors in a job-related field.

  • Degree equivalency: 4 years of additional job-related experience.

  • Required Work Experience: 5 years in leadership coaching/consulting

  • Required Skills and Abilities: High level of executive presence. Ability to apply appropriate development methodologies. Proven ability to effectively mentor and coach by demonstrating professional maturity, judgment and experience. Ability to partner and communicate with clients in building leaders within the organization to effectively manage relationships and cultivate a positive and productive work environment. Expertise in the field of emotional intelligence, leadership and management development, program evaluation, and transfer of learning, as well as facilitation of leadership programs/courses. In-depth knowledge of adult learning theory, behavioral training and leadership development disciplines. Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team. Ability to prioritize effectively, work with ambiguity and invoke cooperation of leadership within the organization.

  • Required Software and Other Tools: Classroom, Microsoft Office and other office equipment.
