Summary:
The Manager Talent Acquisition will manage the full recruiting life cycle to drive best in class recruiting practices and strategies. The Manager, Talent Acquisition must be able to design and implement various recruiting strategies, be an independent self-starter with full lifecycle experience handling diverse client groups and have the ability to understand and utilize recruiting metrics.

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will closely collaborate with the Director Talent Acquisition in leading strategic project efforts, driving recruitment sourcing strategies, recruiting for diverse functions and roles, managing external recruiting partners, supporting branding/outreach recruitment efforts, ensuring ROI on recruitment tools/partnerships.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will lead full life cycle recruiting including creative sourcing solutions to identify, attract, and hire best in class talent in a timely and cost-effective manner for our Commercial Hub in San Francisco, CA, Parsippany, NJ office and the Science Center (San Diego).
* Requisition Management - Full lifecycle recruitment support across all functions and leading select work streams and driving improvements. Drive communication excellence with candidates, hiring managers and HR Business Partners.
* Strategy - Become a strategic partner, build strong collaborative relationships understand recruiting challenges and developing recruiting sourcing strategies to achieve business results, set expectations and manage strategies in partnership to increase candidate flow, quality, and speed of hire.
* Vendor Management - Maintain and develop relationships with vendors for ATS, Agency and provide strategic direction for optimal utilization and performance.
* Global Talent Acquisition - support global talent acquisition strategy, leading select work streams and driving improvements.
* DE&I -Partner with Director Talent Acquisition to develop recruitment strategies in line with business and organizational goals. Identify new DE&I partnering opportunities and develop best practices.
* Data Integrity - Utilize, update, and maintain applicant tracking system and function as an SME on analytics, reporting and proactively audit the ATS to maintain and drive data integrity excellence. Be aware of and informed on all compliance/ EEO related standards, and applicable federal and state laws as directed accordingly. Understand and support metrics reporting and utilize data to efficiencies.
* Lead projects, develop, implement a strategy to deliver desired results, which contribute to multiple areas of the organization to drive best in class TA operations.


Qualifications

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, life science, or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 5 years full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Pharmaceutical or Biotech strongly preferred

* Demonstrates strong knowledge of corporate business operations and the ability to translate business needs into recruitment strategies and actions
* Demonstrates strong understanding of compensation principles and must possess the ability to make thoughtful and data driven offer recommendations
* Ability to track and implement recruitment metrics
* Demonstrated expertise in utilizing progressive sourcing options such as direct sourcing, web-based recruitment tools, networking, employee referrals, college, and diversity recruitment
* Familiarity with behavioral interviewing techniques (Targeted Selection)
* Demonstrate coaching, developing and management of internal and external resources
* Excellent customer service skills and an ability to offer a highly consultative approach when collaborating with internal and external clients
* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Strong communication and relationship management skills

Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this role in San Francisco, California is $113,000 annually to $155,000 annually.
The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
