What You Will Do:
Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Construction Management Practice in Houston, TX!

With minimal supervision, provides construction inspection services for a wide variety of projects that may include water and wastewater facilities, dams and earth science projects, transportation and transit facilities, and general building projects. Performs routine assignments which are clearly defined and require the understanding of standard construction documents, procedures, and criteria.
What you'll be challenged to do:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests and is responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator. The candidate should be able to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project. Should be familiar with the City of Houston procedures covering the project related duties as stated above and be proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform these duties and reporting.

Compensation:
The range for this position is salary range is $70,000 - $90,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
