NYTech's College of Osteopathic Medicine sees an Assistant/Associate Professor part time, located at the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.



Responsibilities

Teach 1st and 2nd year medical students in the Doctor Patient Relationship Course for the Academic Year for a total of 29 sessions or 130.50 hours.

Grading of SOAP Notes, must make up any missed lab by initiating participation in Simulation Lab and/or Admissions Interviews.

Must complete mandatory on-line training and all other requirements of NYIT and NYITCOM.

Responsible for reading and responding to college and department e-mails.

All other duties assigned by the Department Chair.



Qualifications

D.O. degree from a school of osteopathic medicine.

Completion of an AOA or ACGME-approved residency in Family Medicine.

Board Certified in Family Medicine, New York State License, DEA # and hospital appointment/privileges (or pending application) for active medical staff privileges.
