Qualifications: MUST have a Valid Driver's License Must be willing to obtain an Illinois Bus Permit Previous Experience in Security Required Training is preferred Security Guard License is preferred Must submit or pass a background check Great communication skills Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available Must be 21 years or older to be considered for the Unarmed Security Officer Driver Role 3+ years experience is a plus! 1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM $19 an hour Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security - Warn violators of premise rules and regulations - Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts - Report any facility issues - Request emergency personnel for high risk situations - Familiarity with security equipment - Ability to handle physical workload - Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. - Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations. - Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to: current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes. #CHI Education Requirements (Any) High School Diploma/GED Certification Requirements (Any) Permanent Employee Registration Card School Bus Permit 20 hour basic training Additional Information / Benefits Why Work For Us? - Competitive Compensation - Employee Referral Bonus Program - Great full-time and part-time shifts available! - Medical, dental, and vision coverage! - Life insurance - 401K - Free uniforms! - Daily Pay Available - We put you through all of the necessary training!
