Position Overview:

The Vice President of Employee Experience will champion a positive and productive employee journey from onboarding to offboarding. This critical leadership role will be responsible for fostering a fair and respectful work environment through effective employee relations, leveraging data-driven insights through HR generalist analytics, and ensuring seamless execution of day-to-day HR responsibilities. The VP, Employee Experience is a proactive leader with a deep understanding of employee needs and a proven ability to build and implement strategies that enhance the overall employee experience. Responsible for leading and developing a team focused on creating a supportive and efficient HR infrastructure that empowers our employees and enables the company's success.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive employee experience strategy that aligns with the company's values, culture, and business objectives.
  • Champion a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued, respected, and engaged.
  • Continuously assess and improve the employee journey across all touchpoints, identifying opportunities to enhance satisfaction and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other HR leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and integrated employee experience.
  • Stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in employee experience and implement innovative solutions.
  • Oversee and provide strategic direction to the employee relations function, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement proactive employee relations strategies to minimize risk and foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring legal compliance and equitable outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, promoting effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Define and oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of HR generalist data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in the employee experience.
  • Develop key HR metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives related to employee relations, engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and other HR functions to provide data-driven recommendations that inform decision-making and drive positive change.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Build and develop the capabilities of the HR analytics function.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline HR operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate and optimize the use of HR technology and systems to support transactional processes and improve the employee experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of HR professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented team culture.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Actively support, promote and advance all aspects of Astounds Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) goals and initiatives, recognizing it as a business priority, including creating a work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, heard and empowered to do their best work.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.


Experience:



  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience with a significant focus on employee relations, HR analytics, and HR operations, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
  • Deep understanding of employee relations principles, best practices, and relevant employment laws.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
  • Experience with multi-state organizations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and develop long-term engagement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of the telecommunications industry, financial principles, and how culture impacts business performance.
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to inspire and motivate a team and influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaboration & Partnership: Ability to build strong working relationships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Results Orientation: Focus on achieving measurable results and driving continuous improvement in total rewards programs.

Base Salary: The base salary range for this position is $175,000- $225,000 annually plus opportunities for bonus and benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
