Job Summary:

The Assurance Professional Practice Director, Catalyst Portfolio Leader is a visionary leader with extensive experience in audit, program management, and technical leadership, particularly in managing complex technical portfolios. This role utilizes strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, and regulatory requirements, along with proficiency in advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud computing. A successful Assurance Professional Practice Director, Catalyst Portfolio Leader has excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. They also display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset focused on delivering innovative solutions. This role will continue to build on experience in working with multiple third-party vendors and partners to deliver complex projects and engagements globally.

Job Duties:



  • Oversees the successful execution and delivery of multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient resource management
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive project performance, mitigate risks, and achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Specializes in software design and architecture in a cloud-based environment, driving the strategic vision and execution of innovative design solutions across multiple projects
  • Leads and manages the portfolio backlog, prioritizing portfolio initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategy
  • Manages the elicitation, analysis, and design of requirements for the Integrated Assurance Solution, ensuring industry and project standards are met
  • Plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technological solutions, capturing, refining, confirming, and prioritizing needs to be fulfilled
  • Oversees project and resource management; reporting on budget vs actual; milestones; and deliverable statuses
  • Other duties as required


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Mentors and upskills team members


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education



  • Bachelor's degree, required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, preferred
  • Master's degree in Accountancy, preferred


Experience



  • Two (2) or more years as senior manager, director, or partner level within a firm, required
  • Familiarity and experience with the following professional standards: ISA, ISA (UK), AICPA, PCAOB, required


License(s)/Certification(s)



  • Qualified professional accountant: CPA, ACA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent, required


Software



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
  • Proficiency in advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud computing preferred
  • Experience with assurance applications and research tools, preferred
