Overview:

Responsible for CSS education program including staff onboarding, training, competencies, and in-services. Assist in creating and managing policies and procedures, instrumentation purchasing, set building. Manage daily staff assignments, create the daily turnover list, and verify daily sterilization loads. Assist vendors with loaned and consigned instrument trays. Act as a departmental representative for community and hospital events. Work closely with CSS and OR leadership to ensure processes and production meets the needs of the departments. Works in staffing approximately 50% of the time.

They will manage daily worker assignments, create the daily turnover list, and verify daily sterilization loads. They will assist vendors with loaned and consigned instrument trays.

• High School Diploma. Preferred Associates Degree

• CRCST from HSPA or CSPDT from CBSPD, or have CST and willing to become certified with CRCST or CSPDT within a year.

• 3 years perioperative experience
