Field Engineer (Remote)

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Location: Nationwide (Can Sit anywhere in the United States)

Position Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus

Responsibilities:



  • Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry.
  • Work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team.
  • This position includes quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other responsibilities related to the proper and timely execution of company projects.
  • Candidates can reside anywhere within the US; Project locations will vary depending on the assignment.
  • Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines, communicate effectively in a teamwork setting and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  • Associates must be open to periods of sustained project-based travel. Must have a valid driver's license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.
  • The Field Engineer completes their work in varying environments from a typical office setting to a construction/field setting.
  • Areas of focus will include Procurement, Project Engineering, Planning and Submittals, CAD. Field project accounting, Contracts administration, Quality control, Land surveying, etc.
  • Physical Demands/Visual Requirements: may require moving one's whole body, such as climbing, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, handling, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials or tools or operation of tools and equipment. Lifting up to 25 lbs., using one's own hands and arms in handling, positioning, installing, and moving materials, or manipulating things. Standing, walking, riding, sitting, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, acuity-near, hand to eye coordination.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, environmental engineering or similar related field.
  • Entry level experience will be considered, 2+ years of similar background experience preferred
  • Must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
  • Team players with the ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
  • Design, planning and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products.
  • Good oral, written, problem solving/decision making skills are required
  • Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to take the initiative.
  • HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.
