*Gemini is currently seeking a 1st Shift Bilingual Team Lead I at our Decorah, IA location. Starting pay for this role is $20.26 per hour. Gemini now offers $0 Individual Health Insurance Premiums!* A day in the life of a Team Lead I at Gemini Inc. involves: Leading a team to ensure daily production requirements are attained with a focus on quality, delivery, cost, and safety. Completes a variety of tasks including record keeping and reporting. Provides leadership, oversight, and training to team members to effectively utilize and build on talent, experience, and growth. Observes and evaluates work performed by employees to ensure that individual and teamwork performance is acceptable by standards set by the company. Coaches employees on strengths and areas for improvements. Assists employees with development areas. Coordinates staffing and scheduling for assigned department(s). Assists in determining need for overtime. Schedules vacations for employees. Has the qualifications and skills to fill in or back up in technical areas of responsibility requiring additional technical knowledge, physical demands, and/or safety sensitive positions. Due to the nature of a metal foundry, working conditions require the use of proper PPE to protect hearing and vision as well as the ability to physically load and unload materials.
