The Opportunity

The Vice President of Finance, Enterprise Sales will drive strategic decision-making through advanced financial planning and analysis for Adobe's enterprise sales organization. This key leadership role will transform complex sales and financial data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven strategies to accelerate Experience Cloud, Creative Cloud and Document Cloud revenue growth. The role partners closely with Sales leadership to shape business strategy and drive operational excellence through sophisticated financial analysis of Adobe's subscription-based enterprise business.

What you'll do

Planning & Decision Support

  • Serve as the strategic finance partner to Sales leadership, providing insights to drive Adobe's enterprise cloud business
  • Lead analysis of new market opportunities, pricing strategies, and go-to-market investments for cloud solutions
  • Evaluate effectiveness of enterprise sales programs and initiatives through rigorous return on investment analysis
  • Partner with Sales Operations to optimize sales capacity planning and territory design across product lines
  • Provide financial guidance on critical initiatives including new product launches and market expansion opportunities

Business Performance & Insights

  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify performance trends and recommend data-driven solutions to accelerate growth
  • Drive dashboards and data integrity that provide real-time access to critical business metrics and leading indicators
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand sales productivity, territory performance, and customer acquisition economics
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with detailed analysis of performance drivers and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop predictive models to optimize resource allocation and enhance return on sales investments across geographic regions

Financial Planning & Analysis Leadership

  • Lead sophisticated financial modeling and scenario analysis to identify growth opportunities across Adobe's cloud solutions portfolio
  • Develop and maintain advanced forecasting models to predict revenue trends, pipeline conversion, and sales efficiency metrics for enterprise cloud offerings
  • Drive quarterly and annual planning processes, translating Adobe's strategy into detailed financial plans
  • Create executive-level presentations that tell the story behind the numbers and influence strategic decisions for Adobe's enterprise business
  • Implement advanced analytics to measure and improve key performance indicators across the global sales organization, with focus on ARR growth and net retention

Deal Structuring, Cross Functional Partnership and Influencing

  • Provide strategic deal structuring support by partnering with sales, legal, and pricing teams to optimize commercial terms, ensure financial viability, and drive profitable growth across enterprise deals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and scale initiatives with Sales, Sales Operations, Deals Desk, Revenue Assurance, Pricing and Product teams to drive scalable processes, enhance decision-making, and support accelerated growth across the enterprise segment.
  • Leverage strong influence and executive presence to drive alignment across senior leadership, challenge the status quo, and advocate for data-driven decisions that enhance business performance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience with strong emphasis on FP&A and business analytics
  • Proven track record of providing strategic insights that drive business growth
  • Expert-level financial modeling and analytical skills, particularly SaaS metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Experience with modern FP&A platforms and CRM systems
  • Outstanding executive presence and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales and subscription business models

Preferred

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or high-growth technology companies
  • Background in sales finance
  • Expertise in advanced analytics

The U.S. pay range for this positionis $190,700 -- $448,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
