Optum Infusion Services clinical programs team is looking for a clinician as a Research Analyst, Real World Data and Evidence with a strong desire to learn and expand their abilities into the analysis of real world data and evidence. The role will collaborate with organizational stakeholders including nursing, intake, sales, quality, clinical services, pharmacy programs, payer relations and shared services partners to generate high quality clinical data. Work will be focused with external clients, but also support internal clinical data validation.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Work with business owners to document report requirements and produce agreed upon data extracts
  • Collaborate with business owners and data/reporting team to create data extracts capturing measurable data for project/program analysis
  • Generate high quality, readily interpretable
  • Adaptable to work independently and in a group setting to achieve overall departmental goals
  • Team player and strong ability to work with other disciplines across the company
  • Work with minimal guidance; effectively prioritize multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Comfortable working within a fast pace changing environment
  • Identify issues and help form hypotheses, solutions and strategies to address customers needs on Real World Data
  • Effective manage and track all studies/analyses to ensure timelines are met and all stakeholders aware of project status
  • Support internal clinical teams with data generation for research including posters, manuscripts and white papers

Required Qualifications:



  • Current, unrestricted RN or pharmacist license
  • 2+ years conduct research on data sources and initiatives on Real-World Data
  • Intermediate to advanced EXCEL, Visio, and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to balance multiple deliverables
  • Proven competency to convert research and business requirements to process plans and specifications
  • Proven creative at solving complex problems with strong analytical ability to recommend solutions



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of manual medical chart review experience
  • 1+ years of SQL experience

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
