Overview

The position is responsible for developing and preparing compliance reports that enable bank and business unit leaders to make data-driven decisions. This position is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to monitor and report bank-wide and business unit compliance performance. The position maintains a strong knowledge of Bank operations, systems, and regulations to identify and monitor risks.

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis - Sources, validates, and interprets data for discrepancies, risks, and trends. Resolves data issues or escalates as appropriate to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintains an inventory of all key indicator modifications. Collaborates with stakeholders on process enhancements.
  • Data Reporting - Effectively communicates analysis output through dashboards, periodic reports, and executive summaries regarding bank-wide and business unit compliance performance, risks, trends, and exceptions. Creates ad hoc reports, charts, and continuous reporting enhancements as needed.
  • Compliance Proficiency - Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, procedures, and policies that affect FCB and its business units through ongoing research and industry involvement. May participate in industry events, form partnerships with other professionals, or seek additional training to remain current on evolving issues.
  • Workiva Development - Validates the accuracy of and reconciles key indicator data, while continuously enhancing the Workiva Risk Reporting workspace. Discovers and develops additional compliance processes that could be streamlined and automated within Workiva.
  • Policies and Procedures - Analyzes Enterprise Risk Reporting Standards, determines how to implement within Compliance Risk Reporting, and writes procedures to adhere to requirements.
  • Business Support - Assists with regulatory exams, audits, risk assessments, and other related projects. Identifies and recommends operational or process improvements. May perform system testing or maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Banking or other related experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Banking or other related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Excel and Workiva experience preferred. Workiva (wdesk) experience includes creating and linking spreadsheets and reports, managing permissions, and building dashboards. Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

The base pay for this position is generally between $65,000 and $85,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
