Join our dynamic Philadelphia Select region team, where dedicated Systems Engineers collaborate closely with Account Managers to deliver the best solutions for our partners and customers. Your Impact

As a Solutions Engineer on our Commercial Select Sales Team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting accounts in a pre-sales technical capacity. You'll gain exposure to Cisco's extensive portfolio of technologies and applications, focusing on go-to-market and enterprise innovations. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise alongside your interpersonal, presentation, and troubleshooting skills to inspire confidence and excitement in your customers.

Your deep understanding of IT technology trends and consolidation will be key to our team's success.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver impactful technical presentations to decision-makers and key influencers.

  • Qualify new opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to pursue them.

  • Build strong relationships with internal resources such as Business Units, technical specialists, and architects.

  • Align technical initiatives with customer strategies and goals to drive success.

  • Contribute to the long-term success of your customers by staying current with business and technology innovations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with Cisco products.

  • 2+ years of strong operating experience in more than one of the following areas: Enterprise portfolios including Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, Routing, and Webex Collaboration.

  • Demonstrated (2-3 years) understanding of Cisco's offerings, competitors, solutions, and market landscape.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Related pre-sales experience in a high-tech environment.

  • Expertise in foundational SE skills and specialization in multiple technology areas.

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent.

  • Cisco Certification: CCNP/CCIE Enterprise.
