Overview
The IT Office Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the North America IT Office, ensuring alignment between IT operations and business priorities. This role is a key member of the North American IT Leader-ship team and is critical in professionalizing and optimizing IT governance, compliance, and support pro-cesses. The IT Office Senior Manager will ensure operational transparency, drive process improvements, and provide leadership for a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management
Effectively lead and manage a cross-functional IT team, including the IT Portfolio Manager, SQA and Release Manager, Business Process Manager, and IT Administrative Assistant. Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to support team growth. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing work environment that encourages ac-counta-bility and continuous improvement. Compliance & Standards Ensure full adherence to global IT standards, security policies, and compliance requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures to uphold operational excellence. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and drive corrective ac-tions. Proactive IT Support Anticipate and address IT needs by implementing proactive strategies and solutions that enhance business operations. Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery through innovation, automation, and best prac-tices. Ensure the timely resolution of IT issues and incidents, minimizing disruptions and maintaining productivity. Transparent Communication Communicate IT priorities, initiatives, and key updates with clarity to stakeholders at all levels. Provide regular progress reports on IT projects, risks, and operational performance. Cultivate open, two-way communication between IT and other departments to align strategies and expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field required
5+ years of proven IT management experience with expertise in compliance, proactive support, and com-munication. Strong knowledge of IT compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2). Demonstrated leadership by successfully managing cross-functional IT teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance Deep understanding of IT standards, compliance, and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma). Experience in the hearing aids industry or a related field a plus.
