Title: PMO Project Manager (Brea, CA)

Job Location: 592 Apollo Street, Brea, CA 92821

DESCRIPTION

  • Manage New Product Development (NPD) for American Regent, Inc. including development and management of integrated project plans, milestone and deliverable tracking and running cross functional team meetings.
  • Manage project teams working on complex injectable dosage product development.
  • Generate and maintain product development dashboards, trackers, and KPIs using MS Excel.
  • Generate and manage project timelines using MS Project.
  • Monitor and communicate any changes in project scope, timeline and cost to all appropriate individuals.
  • Create and maintain cross-functional partnership with R&D, Clinical, Operations, Finance and Regulatory teams and leadership.
  • Coordinate the integration of project activities and project resources, risk mitigation and management, as well as serve as the liaison for senior management, R&D, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely execution of critical tasks, milestones and deadlines.
  • Follow-up with teams to continuously update the plan and prioritize activities as needed for the successful implementation and execution of the project within the portfolio.
  • Lead regularly scheduled cross-functional meetings to ensure functional deliverables are understood and timelines are on track.
  • Ensure that performance metrics are defined, tracked, and reported back to leadership team.
  • Support members of functional sub-teams to assure deliverables are completed on time, and dependency assessments are conducted regularly; responsible for the preparation of monthly status reports.

This position's hours are 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday.

This position allows for a hybrid schedule with three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

Salary: $130,853

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or related STEM field, plus five (5) years of project management experience in a pharmaceutical environment. In addition, five (5) years of experience with the following is required:

  • Pharmaceutical product development working with complex injectable drugs, including Liposomes, Nanoparticles, Emulsions and Long Acting Injectable Suspensions;
  • MS Project, specifically to track project milestones, budget, and deliverables;
  • Microsoft Excel; and
  • Pharmaceutical demand and supply planning/management.

Domestic travel required to various unanticipated worksites approx. 15% of time.
