AsSr. Cloud Engineer I, you'll be a key player in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions that empower our clients to leverage the full potential of cloud technologies. You will be responsible for the development of a robust and scalable cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. - Design and deploy cloud-based architectures, ensuring optimal scalability, reliability, and security while adhering to industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, resolve complex issues, and enhance cloud infrastructure performance
- Champion the evaluation and integration of emerging cloud technologies and methodologies to improve our client's cloud ecosystem
- Establish and execute robust cloud governance strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
What you'll need to succeed:
- Active TS/SCI with CI poly is required.
- Current certifications to meet 8140/8570 standards (e.g. Security+ or above)
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience building AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6+) simultaneously
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.
- Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience creating, managing, and hardening server OS images across multiple classification domains in the cloud using AMIs
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EBS, etc..
- An understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a cloud environment.
