Are you ready for the ride of your life? Staffmark is hiring an Order Selector to work for our client in Union City, CA. Summer is right around the corner and temperatures are heating up, let us cool things down for you while you work handling perishable goods in a cold storage environment. In this role you will be accurately staging and sorting products for loading. We can help you beat the heat; apply today!

Pay: $21 per hour

Schedules Available: Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday

Order Selector Responsibilities:



  • Loads and unloads trailers
  • Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
  • Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
  • Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
  • Maintains inventory records




Qualified candidates will have one year of related experience.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
