GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide a collaborative and inclusive approach to pastoral care by ministering holistically to the spiritual needs of patients, their families, medical staff and administration. Reports to the Supervisor of Spiritual Support Services. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree in Theology, Pastoral Studies or a related field. Masters Degree preferred. Endorsement from congregation leadership. Two basic and two advanced units of CPE toward certification within one year of hire. (Not required for a Priest) Certification preferred. One to two (1-2) years of experience in pastoral care ministry in a hospital and/or hospice care setting preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.
