Job Summary/Primary Purpose: The Business Technology Specialist provides local support for all computer equipment, telephone, and point of sale systems. The individual will assist in providing training and training materials for software and applications for staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent skills gained through 2 years of experience in supporting computer systems and software applications required. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training as established by The Salvation Army. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met byanemployeetosuccessfullyperformtheessentialfunctionsofthisjob.Reasonableaccommodationsmay be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Physical requirements include good speaking, hearing and vision. Ability to sit for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to kneel, crawl, or work in difficult or tight locations. This position may be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Working Conditions: Usual office working conditions. May be required at times to work evenings and weekends and travel as request to other locations. In addition, portions of the primary work facility may be considered humid (natatorium) while other locations (gymnasium) may be considered moderately loud in nature. | |
