PW Maintenance Worker - Water Treatment Plant

The following description is provided to give a general idea of duties and responsibilities of the position. Workload is demanding and often varied. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Water Operations Services (Taylor Water Treatment Plant)
Performs duties such as operate light equipment/vehicles and use power equipment such as chain saws, gas-powered weed-eaters, pole-saws and trimmers. Additional duties may include pressure-washing structures, hosing process tanks, painting, window washing and landscaping.

Casual, Non-represented positions
Part - time flexible schedule, limited duration
Hours may include overtime and weekends

Must meet all qualifications and requirements as listed in the Position Description.

Combination of education, training or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Must be able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time under adverse weather conditions; climb ladders and stairs; work in confined spaces; stand or walk for extended periods of time; bend, push, and squat; sufficient knowledge and manual dexterity to use hand and power tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be 18 years or older.

Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid Oregon Drivers License.

Ability to pass a pre-employment background/criminal history check.
