We are hiring a Python Developer to join our Monitoring Team on a remote basis!
This position does require someone with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. *Job Description:* We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with expertise in Ansible, automation, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace to join our dynamic team. As a Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and system reliability. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts:* Utilize Python to create and maintain automation scripts that streamline various operational processes. * *Configuration Management with Ansible:* Implement and manage configuration management solutions using Ansible to ensure consistent and reliable deployments. * *Monitoring and Performance Optimization:* Use monitoring tools like Dynatrace to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance. * *Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:* Work closely with other developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions. * *Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:* Identify and resolve issues related to automation scripts, configuration management, and system performance. * *Documentation:* Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation scripts, configurations, and monitoring setups. *Required Skills and Qualifications:* * *Proficiency in Python:* Strong experience in Python programming, with a focus on developing automation scripts. * *Experience with Ansible:* Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation. * *Monitoring Tools:* Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, including setup, configuration, and performance analysis. * *Automation Expertise:* Proven track record of implementing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. * *Problem-Solving Skills:* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. * *Collaboration:* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * *Documentation:* Ability to create and maintain clear and detailed documentation. *Preferred Qualifications:* * *Experience with Other Scripting Languages:* Knowledge of other scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell. * *Cloud Platforms:* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * *CI/CD Pipelines:* Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This position does require someone to be able to obtain a public trust clearance! *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
