We are hiring a Python Developer to join our Monitoring Team on a remote basis! This position does require someone with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with expertise in Ansible, automation, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace to join our dynamic team. As a Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and system reliability. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Utilize Python to create and maintain automation scripts that streamline various operational processes. * Configuration Management with Ansible: Implement and manage configuration management solutions using Ansible to ensure consistent and reliable deployments. * Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Use monitoring tools like Dynatrace to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance. * Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions. * Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve issues related to automation scripts, configuration management, and system performance. * Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation scripts, configurations, and monitoring setups. Required Skills and Qualifications: * Proficiency in Python: Strong experience in Python programming, with a focus on developing automation scripts. * Experience with Ansible: Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation. * Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, including setup, configuration, and performance analysis. * Automation Expertise: Proven track record of implementing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. * Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. * Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Documentation: Ability to create and maintain clear and detailed documentation. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Other Scripting Languages: Knowledge of other scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell. * Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This position does require someone to be able to obtain a public trust clearance! Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
