Role Definition: The Special Projects Compliance Manager is responsible for multi-unit management. Oversees and ensures that each unit is adhering to Compass Group Safety Standards, Compass Online Training Compliance, and Epicurean Group Programs, Marketing & Merchandizing Standards, Allergen Signage, and Procedures. Develops and maintains management and client relationships with announced visits and outlines projects designed to measure success. This position is hourly, part-time

This includes the monitoring of online and group training compliance in Compass online safety training per individual and Epicurean Group Sustainability and marketing standards. Ensures efficient operations and investment/refresh expenditures within budget limitations; development of Epicurean Groups seasonal menus, and marketing strategies with advertisement of promotional campaigns to develop business and enhance customer satisfaction. Directs and moves ahead the Compass Hiring Process between the unit and the Compass recruitment teams. Ensure all new hires are oriented prior to starting onsite. Assists and trains new managers and the units along with the DMs in Compass by looking ahead to build a stronger bench, assists management in posting requisitions, training, motivation, and corrective action of supervisory and support personnel. This position interacts with senior leadership, management as well as external customers or clients.

People: Management Development

• Ensure the hiring process is completed accurately, with accurate documentation as outlined in Compass People Hub and Orientation.
• Foster a 'Team Spirit' among unit staff by encouraging professional communication and teamwork.
• Mentor personal growth of managers and hourly associates through the annual review process.
• Improve staff productivity and efficiency to meet labor budgets by building a stronger labor bench in each unit.
• Interview, hire, and train Unit Managers, Chef Managers, and General Managers as needed to maintain a robust pipeline.
• Train all personnel in appropriate skills and ensure timely completion of Compass Group Online training.

• Implement Compass online Safety Training, Food Safety, Accurate Signage, and Allergen Training.
• Ensure all employees complete online training compliance and advance unresolved issues to senior leadership.
• Maintain the highest level of Safety, Food Safety, and Allergen Signage, ensuring compliance with local and federal health codes.
• Conduct bi-annual safety building inspections and ensure timely repair of any identified issues.
• Ensure timely maintenance of unit vehicles and document training processes for qualified drivers.

Compliance of Epicurean Food Programs and Standards

• Measure and rate compliance with implemented Food Standards and Marketing.
• Collaborate with management teams to plan and develop seasonal menus for Cafe and Catering.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Marketing team to develop activity calendars and promotional programs.
• Enhance business revenue and customer happiness through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

• Attend weekly Marketing & Sales meetings to discuss business development strategies.
• Interact with community support staff and administration as needed.
• Solicit feedback from Cafe Clients and Catering customers twice yearly, measure the efficiency of forums.
• Foster positive relationships and a positive brand reputation within all aspects of the business.

• Forward new client leads to sales as directed by senior management.
• Assist in proposal and sales projects as needed.
• Meet with potential clients as directed by senior management.
